The Harvard Krokodiloes are Harvard University’s oldest a cappella group and one of the most sought-after ensembles of student singers in the world. Over the years, they have performed for the President of the United States, the Aga Khan, the King of Thailand, and Princess Grace of Monaco, among others.

Made up of a dozen tuxedo-clad Harvard students, they have been charming audiences across the globe since 1946 with their signature blend of jazz, funk, rock and roll, and ballad arrangements. Their musical excellence, sharp wit, and choreography have made them audience favorites and earned them invitations to perform in over 60 countries.

But the best argument for seeing them is their own singing—here’s a klip.

This summer, they are on a world tour—and now, an even greater honor than performing for the aforementioned global dignitaries awaits:

A concert at Regensen on Thursday, July 10th!

Founded in 1623, Regensen is one of the oldest student dormitories in the Nordic countries—making it 13 years older than Harvard—and it boasts a proud singing tradition. Studenter-Sangforeningen was founded here in 1839, and it was within these walls that Christian Vinter and J.C. Hostrup penned some of Denmark’s most beloved student songs.

We are therefore especially proud to present the current incarnation of the Studenter-Sangforeningen as co-performers with the Krokodiloes!

The concert begins at 8 PM, and refreshments will be available from Regensen’s P-institution.

Admission is free for current residents of Kollegiesamvirket af 1983. Thanks to generous support stemming from a longstanding love of choral music and Copenhagen student life, tickets are just DKK 80 for all other guests.
